Inovasi interface terbaru dari HTC yaitu HTC Sense UI ini terbilang lebih natural, simple dan personal ketimbang model interface smartphone berteknologi TouchFLO. Untuk mendukung performanya ini, HD2 dipersenjatai dengan prosesor Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD2850 1 GHz. Tingkat akselerasinya cukup tangguh digunakan untuk aplikasi, video, game hingga aplikasi kantoran berbasis windows.
Selain itu, disektor hiburan HD2 dijejalkan kamera berkekuatan 5 megapixel dengan auto focus, LED flash dan geo tagging yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi GPS.
